Spicy Garlic Wok Noodles

If you spend a lot of time deciding what to cook for dinner just like me, then this recipe is definitely for you. I personally love these spicy wok noodles because they're so flavorful and so spicy, not that I'm complaining. This was the recipe that took the longest to finalize as there are many different ways to cook noodles. Many people like adding meat to it, many people don't add veggies, many people don't add any seasoning. But finally when I got the perfect recipe, I would have it every week. I love these noodles so much but if you don't like spicy food or can't eat too much spice, I wouldn't recomment these spicy wok noodles.

Ingredients

Seasoned tofu

1 tbsp vegetable oil
11.5 oz extra firm tofu, cut into 1cm cubes
1 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tbsp sesame oil
3 medium shallots, minced
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 small broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
6.5 oz quick-cooking raman noodles
1 medium red pepper, minced
1cup cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp sriracha hot sauce

Optional garnish

sliced green onion
toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. To a large pan, add the vegetable oil on high heat. When the oil is hot, ad the tofu cubes. Stir to cook the tofu evenly on all sides. When the tofu is golden brown, add the soy sauce and stir to cover it in the soy sauce. When done, transfer to a bowl.
  2. To a large pot or wok, add the sesame oil, shallots, garlic, and broccoli and cook for 5-7 mins on medium heat. When cooked, turn off the heat.
  3. Cook the ramen noodles per it's instructions then, run under cold water and set aside.
  4. Add the cooked and drained noodle to the large pot with the shallots and broccoli. Add the seasoned tofu cubes, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, dark soy sauce, and the hot sauce. Stir everything around until everything is completely mixed.
